Important Update for Patients With Canada Life Insurance
Over the past several months, our clinic has spent countless hours advocating on behalf of patients whose treatments with Shea Puckett, DOMP, were previously covered under Canada Life. Unfortunately, at some point this summer, Canada Life stopped accepting claims for services provided under her associations, ACMA and COMPO, despite the fact that Shea has maintained all her credentials and continues to meet the requirements of her governing bodies.
This change came without notice to patients or therapists, and as a result, many of you are understandably frustrated. Please know that we share that frustration deeply. We have been working tirelessly to gather clarity, but Canada Life has not yet offered a clear explanation for the change in their policy.
We strongly encourage all affected patients to advocate directly with Canada Life, as individual inquiries can sometimes prompt more detailed responses. If you are able to obtain any additional information or reasoning behind this shift in coverage, we would be grateful if you shared it with us. Your insights may help us better support others facing the same issue.

Where do I start?
Most patients’ pain did not start yesterday, most patients’ pain started years ago!
You have manage it well for this long, your body truly has been incredible in how it has supported you!
At this point you are choosing Myofascial Release Therapy because traditional therapies have not worked as well for you.
We understand that your pain patterns developed long ago and here at FC, we have changed the model of care. Your first initial appointment is going to be longer than you have had in the past at other clinics. Time restraints of giving yourself only a short period of time to truly understand the depth of your pain are gone. Understanding why, we as Myofascial Release Therapists, under our respective titles, differ from traditional therapy; and of why you are choosing Myofascial Release Therapy (MFR), to help you understand your pain and finally move past it, is what we are are here to help you with.
Let us take the time to figure out what is really going on. We want to be able to spend the time with you and to work with you to help you get back to your pain free life.
How do I choose which therapist to start with?
Good news!!! Here at FC, all of our therapists use Myofascial Release Therapy. We understand a lot of people work with insurance as their guide to their care. With that in mind, we offer Physiotherapy, Registered Massage Therapy and Osteopathy. Please take a look at our bios and see who you are drawn towards. Trust your intuition and start there 🙂 MFR is covered by your insurance if you have it, under the care of a Registered Massage Therapy (RMT), Physiotherapy (PT) or Manual Osteopathy (DOMP). Insurance Receipts are given to each client in the name of client being treated under the title of the Therapist who is seeing you.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments changed or missed without sufficient notice will be billed at the full appointment fee.
