The newest and latest at FC!
July sure has gotten hot, but those of us that are sun and heat fans are loving it! We at FC hope you are all doing well and enjoying the summer months thus far 🙂
We are still operating out of our temporary location of Bright Moon Wellness at 1390 Prince of Wales Dr. Suite 515, but we are hoping to return home soon.
We want to update you on what is happening in our home.
The water from putting out the fire damaged all of our electrical panels at 2200. Our restoration team has sourced all the materials needed to rebuild this panel and we hope that everything will be fully restored in the next few weeks. When that happens, the work on cleaning up our space and restoring it to our pre-fire state will happen soon after.
Until then, keep up with your care!
We look forward to seeing you and continuing to help you along with your health goals.
“Pelvic Floor Health Is Not Optional: Why Every Woman Deserves Support”
Let’s talk about pelvic floor health.
Too often, women are told that leaking, pelvic pain, or discomfort during intimacy are just “part of being a woman”—something to tolerate after childbirth, with age, or for no clear reason at all. But while these symptoms may be common, they are not normal, and you don’t have to live with them.
Pelvic floor dysfunction—whether it shows up as urinary incontinence, pressure, pain, or subtle changes you can’t quite explain—is a treatable concern. And treatment doesn’t have to be invasive or extreme.
Gentle, evidence-based care can address the root of dysfunction through specialized assessment and treatment. It can improve muscle coordination, release tension, and restore balance—and yes, it’s appropriate for women at all ages and stages of life. You don’t need a referral, and you don’t need to wait.
At our clinic, care may include both internal and external approaches, along with supportive techniques like myofascial release—a hands-on method that helps ease tight or restricted connective tissue (fascia) around the pelvis, hips, abdomen, and beyond. This release work can reduce pain, improve mobility, and support whole-body function—all delivered in a way that is safe, respectful, and trauma-informed.
Let’s break the silence.
Let’s normalize the conversation.
Because leaking might be common—but it’s not normal.

** HELPFUL TIPS
To support your body between appointments:
🟣 Use your white FC therapy ball
Find a tender or tight spot, pause there, and simply wait. Soften into it. Let yourself melt into the sensation. Tune into your body—do you notice tightness, warmth, heaviness, or other sensations? This is your felt sense.
Give it time—3 to 5 minutes—and let the tissue release naturally. You don’t need to force or fix anything. Just allow it to happen.
🧘♀️ Gentle movement goes a long way
Incorporate 5–10 minutes of slow, sustained (“slothified’) stretching or light movement each day to boost circulation and reduce stiffness—especially in the summer heat when we tend to move differently.
Before heading out for gardening, hiking, biking, paddling, or even a long walk, take a moment to check in with your body.
👉 How are you feeling before? What sensations are present afterward?
If you notice any tension, tightness, or discomfort when you return indoors, take a few minutes to reconnect. Use your white therapy ball or gentle stretching to soften and release those areas. A little awareness goes a long way toward keeping your fascia (and the rest of you) feeling your best.
💧 Hydration Reminder
Water helps keep your fascia soft, pliable, and responsive. Make sure you’re drinking regularly—especially after physical activity or time in the sun. Staying well-hydrated supports your body’s natural ability to move, release tension, and recover more easily.
